DAY 4 DNC: CHELSEA CLINTON

ABOUT CHELSEA'S SPEECH

Chelsea Clinton gave a slow and meaningful speech.  She told us about what it was like to be raised by Hillary Clinton.  When Chelsea was a child, Hillary wanted to hear Chelsea’s opinion on issues, and wanted Chelsea’s opinion to be supported by facts.  Chelsea let us know that Hillary is, and was, not only interested in hearing her daughters opinion but in hearing other youths' opinions as well.  

Hillary was a devoted mother; everyday she was away from Chelsea she would leave Chelsea a note, so that Chelsea knew she was always on her mother’s mind.  This anecdote lets us know, or at least is supposed to let us know, that Hillary is caring, loving, and devoted to those she loves, and you know she loves all of us Americans.

During her speech, Chelsea answered a question that I think many of us have asked at some point in time; how does Hillary keep going?  Chelsea’s answer; “Hillary never forgets who she is fighting for”.  As a young, female, I would be among those who Hillary fights for, and I will support her rather than stand by and watch a lunatic man fight for racist, bigoted, white old men.
